Free for chefs. Always.

Commis is free for culinary talent. Restaurants pay to publish internships; you never pay to find one.

For chefs and cooks

For chefs and cooks looking for their next kitchen.

Freeno fees, no card

The details

What it costs: Nothing. Creating a profile, applying and messaging restaurants are free, and there is no paid version for chefs.
No trial, no card: There is nothing to try out or upgrade: a chef account has every feature from the start, and we don't ask for payment details.
Never pay to apply: No restaurant on Commis may charge you to apply or to be offered an internship. If anyone asks you for a placement fee, report it to us.
Internship pay: Some internships are paid. Each listing shows whether it is and, if so, the amount. Pay and terms are agreed between you and the restaurant — Commis isn't part of those payments.
